This project investigates how participants respond to partisan cues regarding protectionist policies. It introduces a quadtree-based survey instrument that pinpoints each respondent’s preferred policy package in a two-dimensional space (protectionism for manufacturing and willingness to suffer inflation) in only a handful of questions.
